DFX Audio Enhancer is a piece of software designed to help bring your audio files to their ultimate quality. It does so by providing the audio with enhanced vibrancy that boosts your listening experience to the highest level. The software is capable of enhancing any music played through your PC, and it works just as well with streaming music as it does with native music files.

This software is backed by some interesting claims from the developers. According to them, DFX Audio Enhancer will make your simple PC sound like an optimized stereo system in perfect acoustic harmony with the environment. While it's hard to substantiate these claims, it's easy to see how such boasts could be true when you start dealing with the software.

One of the most fascinating characteristics of DFX Audio Enhancer is that it will work on just about any source of audio coming from your PC. It's compatible with Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, QuickTime, VLC, and many more players and services.

An unfortunate feature of the software is that it looks pretty terrible for an app of its supposed quality and function. It looks very much like the UI was designed in the late 90s, and while those designs might have been popular once, they now look outdated, dull, and tacky.

Another fairly negative feature of this free version of the software is that the various control sliders are locked. You are able to apply or remove the individual effects in full, such as Hyperbass and Fidelity, but you can't customize the level of the effect in the free version of DFX Audio Enhancer.

While the developers of this software made it seem as if you would never again listen to music without DFX Audio Enhancer, the truth is simply that the tool really doesn't add much to the music at all. You can hear some added depth and body, but that's basically negligible compared to the functions found in other audio enhancers. However, the software does have a few good points. It gives you the option to alter or renew the stereo depth, and it has audio level boosters that help you generate rich, full sound. It's certainly not the miracle audio product it was made out to be by the developers, but the free version is certainly worth a try.

It is true that much of the functionality found in this tool can be accomplished with one of the benchmark media player apps on the market. Some of the functions in this app can actually be accomplished simply by changing a few sound settings in your system. Of course, the ability to control all of those features through a single user interface is what usually draws people to DFX Audio Enhancer. You can also customize the player with different skins found online.
